Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Palm Valley Fish Camp is a fantastic seafood destination within an unassuming house on the Intracoastal Waterway. Their menu features perfect renditions of Southern classics such as shrimp and grits, blue crab cakes, fried oyster po’boys, and buttermilk pan-fried chicken with grits. Other favorites include a low boil for two loaded with shrimp, clams, snow crab, and veggies. Meals are paired with an extensive wine list and a great selection of draft and bottled beers. The Shoppes at Palm Valley is a neighborhood strip mall anchored by a Publix supermarket. Dining choices here include classic Chinese dishes at Wok n Roll and authentic Japanese cuisine at Sushi House & Grill. Other restaurants close to Palm Valley include refined 3 Palms Grille and relaxed Two Dudes Seafood Restaurant.

Things to Do

Palm Valley Community Center is run by the oldest community association in Northeast Florida. Many events are held at the community center, including a monthly farmers’ market and the annual Christmas Boat Parade. Residents of Palm Valley are within easy reach of beaches and boating on the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Palm Valley ICW Tours offers trips along the Intracoastal Waterway with educational and entertaining guides. Homes are also close to many exceptional golf courses. The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is a private golf and beach club with a golf course that was completely renovated in 2016. Other amenities include a beach club with a Junior Olympic swimming pool, seven Har-Tru tennis courts, and a fitness center. The nearby Ponte Vedra Concert Hall hosts live performances from some of the top touring names in music. Just south of Palm Valley, Guana River Wildlife Management Area is a protected coastal paradise with a diverse landscape of salt marshes, maritime hammocks, and pine flatwoods. Wildlife such as peregrine falcons, ospreys, bald eagles, and more than 3,000 migratory ducks can be seen from the wildlife management area’s many hiking trails. The area is also a popular crabbing and fishing spot with croaker, redfish, and sea trout. Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park is a beautiful oceanfront stretch a short distance to Palm Valley’s east. To Mickler Landing’s immediate north, Ponte Vedra Beach is a gorgeous area of white sand flanked by towering 40-foot dunes.
