Stretching for three blocks between State Route A1A and the Atlantic Ocean, this community features luxury homes on large lots with mesmerizing golf course and lagoon views.
Old Ponte Vedra Beach started experiencing significant growth in 1914 when it became a prominent mining town. Nicknamed Mineral City, a plethora of titanium, rutile, and zircon was found in the area and used to make steel during World War I. After the war, local developers decided to showcase the area’s natural beauty and began crafting a beach and resort community in the 1920s and ‘30s. The community has well-maintained ranch homes dating back to this period.
Growth accelerated even more in the 1960s and 1970s. Nowadays, single-family homes in Old Ponte Vedra Beach feature a wide range of architectural styles representing different periods in the community’s development. Recent years have seen many of the community’s older homes replaced with stunning contemporary properties.
